Brochure 'Onderzoek naar ME/CVS' van ME/CVS Nederland

Het doel van deze brochure is enerzijds om je te informeren over wetenschappelijk onderzoek in het algemeen, zodat je – wanneer je daarin geïnteresseerd bent – zelf beter wetenschappelijke publicaties kunt lezen en beoordelen. Anderzijds geven we een overzicht van de problemen met ME/CVS-onderzoek zodat je inzicht krijgt in dit lastige onderzoeksterrein. Tenslotte gaan we uitgebreid in op onderzoek van de laatste jaren dat zicht richt op een aantal aandachtsgebieden: het vinden van een goede biomarker voor ME/CVS, onderzoek naar de oorzaken en onderzoek naar de behandeling van ME/CVS.

Ter informatie: De ziekte van Lyme wordt door de bacterie Borrelia veroorzaakt, die je kunt oplopen na een tekenbeet.
